Upcoming F-111C Aircrew Reunions

PigzArz ’26 @ Regatta Hotel – Sat, 31 Oct 26

Save The Date for this year’s PigzArz F-111 Aircrew reunion at the Regatta on Sat, evening of 31 October. I’ve responded to feed-back (yet again!), and the Saturday Gig (closest to 1-11) was favoured, with the likelihood of earlier commitment by some folk. Likewise, there have been more calls for more food at the event, and I’ll arrange that, and negotiate a reasonable deal from Regatta, who continue to support our event, by offering a good ‘Minimum Spend’. So, whilst I can’t deliver menus and prices for this year’s event at this early stage, it will be likely around $80 pp / $150 couple…. But the will be announced later, once Regatta and I finish negotiating. There will be more of the budget assigned to food… and a reduction in drinks over the bar.

Whilst I’m not looking for a response at this time, I hope you can enter the date into your very busy schedule, and make plans to attend. A group of 40-50 will ensure we get the required ‘min-spend’ to secure the venue, and we have easily surpassed that in the past. Please pass on to your fellow Pig Aircrew, family and friends, as some emails are replying with invalidity. The event is open to F-111 aircrew, their partners, and families, and any ‘like minded’ associate with an interest in harping about how good we were (Emphasis on the ‘WERE!”)… If you already know that you are not able to attend for any reason, please advise and I’ll remove you for this year’s email spamming. I’ll provide a calling notice in Early September, once Regatta has provided details.

Annual GC F-111C Aircrew Lunch @ Southport SLSC – Wed, 2 Dec 26

No need to respond yet, this is just a heads-up of our Annual F-111 GC Lunch. As usual, first Wednesday in December at the Southport Surf Lifesaving Club, Main Beach, from 1200hrs, sitting down at 1300. I will send out a formal invitation over OCT-NOV for numbers, and if you would like to think of bringing your sons or guests you can let me know then.
