Pigz+ Golf QICKREP – ‘Mt Warren Park GC’ – 31 Mar 26<\/h3>\n

Another fun Pigz+ social golf day as three teams assembled at Beenleigh RSL GC. \u00a0The weather was perfect, ok we got a few mils but at least it didn’t pi55 down ! \u00a0 Good to see Omar back from his round-the-world adventures, RickOf upright after undergoing an R5 on his ticker and welcome to a ‘newbie knuck’, Milo Frohlich, Cooti’s mate from Cathay. \u00a0Apart from Team 1 lagging valiantly in 3rd place, the match was, once again, quite evenly contested as the scores below show.<\/p>\n

Despite a barnstorming finish by Team 3 & desperate rallying by babbling Boggy, Omar’s Boyz proved a touch too good to win the day’s $$$ prize pool. \u00a0 Maybe their python encounter gave them the adrenalin needed to prevail \ud83e\udd23, or the two putts converted from off the green, or their great use of the ‘pink ball’, or Omar’s consistently massive, accurate drives, 250m + in the fairway, tipped the scales in favour of Team 2. \u00a0 Either way, well played everyone and our handicapper Woodsy will take care of Omar’s handicap before his next game.<\/p>\n

PS. \u00a0Good to see Frank’s F-111A tail still intact, but fading slowly in the elements …<\/p>\n
